THE BOROUGH OF COUDERSPORT

The Coudersport Borough has two beautiful parks with playground equipment, pavilions, walking areas and play areas. Mitchell Park is located on Park Avenue and there are several pieces of playground equipment such as merry go round, slide, swings and several items for the small children to enjoy. There is a pavilion and restrooms available during the summer months and rentals are available for the pavilion, capable of handling approximately 50 people.

The Borough also has CARP or Coudersport Area Recreation Park located off 7th Street, where there are swings, climbing bars, large play area merry go round. There are two pavilions one large one capable of handling up to approximately 75 people with restrooms.  The smaller pavilion is ideal for small family gathering with room for approximately 15 to 20 people.  While in CARP there is a tennis court, basketball, ball fields walking paths fishing and volley ball court. Come to CARP and enjoy your day. 

Coudersport also has a beautiful swimming pool with certified lifeguards, located at the East end of Maple Street and the pool is opened weather permitting about June 1st and continues open every day till the third week of August. Annual and monthly memberships are available as well as daily passes. Pool parties are available see a lifeguard for details. The pool is opened to the general public. There are also swim lessons offered beginning around the third week of opening.
